Fresh Fitness

​​Mark T. Ervin, Owner of Fresh Fitness, is a native of Chattanooga where he received his B.S. degree in Exercise Science from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 1992.  Mark went on to attend Virginia Tech where he received his Master's degree in Exercise Physiology/Cardiac Rehabilitation in 1995.  He is certified through the American College of Sports Medicine as an Exercise Specialist, Health Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer.  Other certifications through the Arthritis Foundation and American Heart Association have brought him a wide array of experience dealing with clients of all fitness levels and health status.  Mark's exercise specialties are many, but particularly in those areas where special training needs arise for developing proper exercise routines and prescriptions for individuals with diabetes, hypertension, CAD, COPD, orthopedic limitations, arthritis, fibromyagia and other "special populations".  Along with his special populations experience, Mark is a well-versed Nutritionist.  In addition to these particular specialties, Mark is an accomplished Personal Trainer with numerous success stories to report.  Whether it's dealing with the apparently healthy, the athlete, the maturing senior, male or female, Mark has had a positive impact on dozens of individuals seeking to improve their quality of life through exercise and nutrition.  


In 1996, Mark served as Manager for Saint Joseph's Hospital Specialty Center for Wellness & Rehabilitation Care in Atlanta for five years.  Upon leaving Atlanta, Mark went on to become Director of ViQuest Wellness Center in Ahoskie, NC. for three years.  Returning back to Chattanooga in 2004, he became General Manager of a local commercial fitness center for five years.  He has over 27 years experience in the field of exercise science, sport, wellness and rehabilitation care.  His passionate personality and compassion for his clients has gained him notoriety and respect throughout the local area.
